SUMMARY:SAI Region 19 Convention and Competition
DESCRIPTION:The premiere event of the year for our Region 19 community\, and we’ll be there\, of course!  We wouldn’t miss it! \nFor the first time since 2005\, we will not be performing for competition or for evaluation at our Regional Quartet contest.  But we *will* be serving as the inspection quartet to set the sound system up\, and then again as mic testers to kick off he Friday night Quartet contest.    We’ll also perform with the Region 19 Quartet Chorus and the Silver Sorority Chorus on Friday night. \nOn Saturday\, we’ll be competing with our choruses:  Kate will sing in her primary chorus\, Capital Accord Chorus\, and the rest of us will sing with Harbor City Music Company Show Chorus. \nWe’ll sing again as a quartet on the Saturday night Show of Champions\, and then we’ll make the rounds of the afterglow party rooms until the last person has turned in for the night. \nCan’t make it to Hershey?   Watch the fun on the FREE Region 19 Webcast! SUMMARY:SAI Region 19 Singer's School
DESCRIPTION:Singer’s School is SAI Region 19’s premiere educational weekend\, and this year is going to be a blockbuster!   The international faculty is Jean Barford.  Jean’s credentials span the entirety of the Sweet Adelines International organization\, and as a vocal skills teacher she is widely regarded as the cream of the crop! \nDuring this fabulous weekend\, Lustre will be doing a Q&A session on Friday night to talk to our Regional family about our experiences in Las Vegas in October 2017\, and answer any questions folks might have about that.   On Saturday\, we’ll be helping with the Quartet Track\, teaching some of the classes there.   Saturday night we’ll join several  other awesome performers and sing a bit on the Saturday night show.  If you can’t come the whole weekend\, you can still come to the show for a small entrance fee of $15. \nWe can’t WAIT to see all our Regional family – that’s what they are! – and give hugs and high fives and get lots of pictures on Facebook and spread the harmony joy. \nPLEASE join us in the fun! \nRegistration information coming soon to the Region 19 website.
